The best aspects of our stay were the cozy and warm atmosphere of the guest house and the excellent breakfast. The lounge area with the coal fire was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the homemade fudge in the room was a delightful touch. The convenient location of the guest house allowed us to take a gentle evening stroll to the nearby river and city center. It was a great way to soak in the Christmas atmosphere and enjoy the holiday lights.
The worst aspects of our stay included the small size of the single rooms and the lack of a proper desk or workspace. The tiny TV was also disappointing for those who enjoy watching shows or movies during their stay.

Great location, just off the main road and easy to find. Only a short walk to town and attractions. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to leave our cars after check-out.Homemade fudge in the rooms was a nice touch.
Room sizes varied and some were a bit cramped. Limited breakfast options.

The hosts were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They provided us with maps and walking plans, making our hikes in the Highlands stress-free and breathtaking. The house itself was beautiful, tidy, and clean, with complimentary homemade treats that were absolutely delicious. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the city center, and they had great recommendations for places to eat. Having a car to explore the Highlands was a must, and the hosts made it even better by offering complimentary drinks in the lounge area.
Honestly, there was nothing that we disliked about our stay. Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness of the room to the friendly and helpful staff.

I recently stayed at a beautiful B&B in Inverness called Lairds Lodge. From the moment I spoke to Mary on the phone to arrange a late arrival, I knew I was in good hands. She was incredibly nice and accommodating. When I checked in, Mary was there again and made me feel right at home. The room was excellent, the breakfast was superb, and the location was conveniently close to the city center. I also appreciated the fact that the B&B was very clean and reasonably priced. I would definitely choose Lairds Lodge over a hotel any day!
Nothing, everything was great! 👍

The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the location was conveniently close to the river and town. The WIFI was also exceptional, which made my teenage daughter very happy!

The breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious and satisfying, offering a range of options to suit different tastes. the owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout my stay. The location of the hotel was also convenient, being within walking distance to various amenities and attractions.
One aspect that could be improved upon is the presence of stairs, which may be challenging for individuals with mobility issues or heavy luggage.

Comfortable and well-equipped property.
Struggled with oven, but didn't ruin the stay.

We had a truly excellent stay at this guest house. The new owner, James, has maintained the stunningly high standards that this place is known for. The house is surgically clean, warm, and comfortable. The staff, including James and his wife, are friendly, helpful, and make you feel extremely welcome. They went out of their way to accommodate our special requests. The breakfast, cooked by the trained and experienced chef Matt, was absolutely delicious. The little touches, like the homemade fudge in the room and the free cake in the evening, added to the overall experience. The guest house has a boutique hotel feel and offers plenty of off-road parking. We highly recommend this place, especially for those traveling by car.
Nothing not to like 👍
